Pillar 4: Healthy Bodies and Minds – Mindfulness

Tonight, Terray learned a lot about mindfulness during our Wellbeing Session for Pillar 4’s Healthy Bodies and Minds. In this session, we discussed what mindfulness is, and how to incorporate it into our daily lives. We learned about slowing down and being present in each moment and strategies to slow down our brains when it feels like our thoughts are going too fast or when they overwhelm us.

Our girls are stepping up to a challenge of taking 5 minutes a day to slow down, take a breath, and savor every moment in life, no matter how big or small. This session was especially enjoyable as we all took time to close our eyes, breathe, and ground ourselves in the present. Now, we invite you to join us and take a moment to relax your shoulders, close your eyes, and take some nice deep breaths in and out.

Springtime adventures ๐ŸŒธ

Spring is beginning to bloom on campus, with flowers blossoming and the weather warming up! This weekend, we also moved our clocks forward for daylight saving time – on Saturday night, the time changed from 2am to 3am.

The girls had a fantastic time engaging in various activities, including cooking, karate, horse riding, shopping in Geneva, and a park adventure, where they had fun playing in the woods!
