Todaywe enjoyed a delicious Moroccan dinner 🌙✨

Perfect comfort food for this classic rainy Swiss weather 🌧️❄️: warm, cozy, and full of amazing flavors.

Everyone loved the dinner, and it was such a treat to sit together and enjoy something a bit special. For Maria and Kapa, who came straight from horse riding, we made sure they didn’t miss out: we brought a takeaway home for them 🙂

Terray 27’s Journal Journey 📔💖

Dear All,

This weekend in Terray 27, we began a journaling adventure as a family. This long-term project is designed to give students a safe outlet for their feelings, a space to capture their hopes and dreams for the future, and to encourage journaling as a meaningful well-being practice.

To prepare for the activity, the girls each chose a diary during our recent shopping trip to Geneva. Take a look below at our outing and the journals they selected—we think they found some real gems!

Every other week, the girls will take part in a guided journaling session featuring a thoughtful prompt. Between sessions, the journals are theirs to use freely: to declutter their minds, reflect on their days, and put their dreams onto paper.

Stay tuned for photos from our sessions and to learn more about the many benefits of journaling!

A Weekend of Creativity and Activity!

Dear All,

We enjoyed another wonderful weekend at Terray 27, making the most of the fantastic activities offered each Saturday and Sunday.

On Friday, Ms. Rym introduced a new conversational game she created, sparking deep thinking, plenty of laughter, and meaningful moments of connection as we learned even more about one another. And since it was the weekend, we of course ended the evening with a movie night and cozy sleepovers.

Saturday began with a burst of creativity. Some of the girls attended Cooking and Baking, where they prepared a delicious chicken piccata with basil mashed potatoes, while others joined Art Club, creating beautiful drawings and paintings. Later, we teamed up with Champs des Bois for a fun trip to Geneva to visit some of our favorite shops.

On Sunday, Kapa and Daria started the day early, heading up to La Tzoumaz with other boarders for a snowy day on the slopes, enjoying the incredible outdoor opportunities Switzerland has to offer. Back at Terray 27, we completed our Study Halls to prepare for the week ahead, and Kailin and Stella headed out for an exciting visit to Gravity Park, a trampoline park near Geneva.

We’re already looking forward to next weekend’s adventures!

A Creative Moment Together🎨

During our social hours, we shared a truly special creative moment with the girls, painting and decorating jewelry boxes and pencil cases. Each piece became a small reflection of its creator!unique, colorful, and full of personality.

Ski Day for Grade 4

Today Grade 4 went skiing with the school. Here we have Jasper and Stella🥰:

Afterwards, we had a Singapore dinner to recover, and to finish the day we will have the House Week assembly. Good night!

This Week at Home

This week we started doing short activities at home. Although the girls spend time together in the house, they do not usually take part in activities all together.

Today, Mr. Andrei led a breathing activity with them. He explained the importance of breathing properly and guided the girls through some simple breathing exercises. The activity helped them relax and become more aware of their bodies and emotions.

It was a calm and positive experience for everyone.

Making the Most of an Unexpected Weekend.

Flexibility and a positive attitude shaped this weekend’s experiences. While our original plan was to spend time together in the mountains, a last-minute adjustment led us to create two different day trips; both equally enriching.

The girls who signed up for skiing enjoyed a fantastic day on the slopes in Crans-Montana, while the rest of the group spent a lovely day exploring Bern.

This morning, we all came together again for an ice-skating session, and later this afternoon, before dinner, we shared some fun cooperative games with Champ des Bois, focusing on teamwork, connection, and shared enjoyment.

A Fantastic Day in Crans-Montana and Bern

Hello everyone!
We were able to enjoy a fantastic day in Switzerland. The students who signed up for skiing spent the day on the slopes in Crans-Montana, making the most of the snow and mountain views. Meanwhile, those who didn’t ski headed to Bern, where they explored the city and had a great time at the aquapark.

We are all back to CDL, showered, and ready to relax with a movie before getting some well-deserved sleep.

Good night! 🌙

Busy Wednesday in Terray 27! ❄️

Our Terray girls recently enjoyed a special British-themed dinner, celebrating traditional flavours in a friendly and relaxed setting. The menu featured classic dishes such as roast beef with tartar sauce and chicken pie, alongside a tasty vegetarian Wellington. These were served with tomato beans and green vegetables, offering a balanced and comforting meal for everyone. To finish, students enjoyed a slice of carrot cake, the perfect sweet ending to the meal!!

After our dinner, we had our first House Assembly of the year. We talked about house rules, boarding community, our weekend mountain trip and finally our boarders of the week: Daria and Kailin!

This weekend is going to be so much fun – other than freezing. Crans-Montana, we’re coming! ❄️
