Our boarders never cease to amaze us with their enthusiasm and dedication!

Each weekend, our students have the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, helping them explore their potential and nurture their passions. Beyond the busy schedule, we also took time to unwind with a trip to town, stocking up on essentials and enjoying a well-deserved day out off campus.

As always, we are so proud of our students for their curiosity, creativity, and commitment. Stay tuned for more exciting updates from Terray!

Weekend Activities at Terray!

Even in cold and rainy weather, we have great weekends at Terray!

This weekend was packed with our usual activities, including horse riding, hip-hop dance, cooking, and tennis. Friday, we took time to complete our weekly guided reading session together, allowing us to unwind and relax together. Saturday was our busiest day this weekend, with the girls attending their go-to activities. On Sunday, we did some crafts together and prepared for the upcoming talent show.

Overall it was a lovely weekend, and we are so excited for the weather to continue to improve so we can spend more time together outside!

Pillar 4 – Healthy Bodies and Minds

We have officially started our fourth wellbeing pillar in Terray, Healthy Bodies and Minds!

For the first week of this pillar, we focused on nutrition, providing our students with a better understanding of calories and portion sizes, as well as how to make healthy food choices and the importance of staying hydrated.

Tonight’s video centered on portion sizes, water intake, and calorie needs for different age groups, teaching our students more about how to best care for their bodies. We look forward to exploring more of this very important pillar in the coming weeks, and learning more about how to nourish our bodies and minds!

Dinner at Home – Indonesia!

Tonight, we had another lovely dinner at home. We are treated to a dinner at home one Thursday per month, and each dinner has a different country for its theme. We had Indonesian food tonight, featuring Nasi Goreng, chicken skewers with sauce, and delicious coconut cakes for dessert! Dinner at home for Terray means a chance to connect with one another as a family. We are so thankful for these opportunities and always look forward to eating together in the house. Check out some yummy photos below!

More Weekend Fun!

We absolutely love our weekend activities here at Terray! This past weekend was particularly special, as several of our girls took part in a heartfelt activity to celebrate Women’s Day. In this creative and meaningful project, they used paint and their hands as stencils to craft beautiful collages honoring the women in their lives. Alongside this, we also enjoyed our regular weekend activities like cooking, horseback riding, tennis, and much more!

We had a fantastic weekend filled with our favourite activities! The weather was exceptional, and the girls made the most of it with a fun water fight, baking a delicious chocolate cake, and spending the evening in Olympus playing games. Laughter, bonding, and great times

Congratulation CDL ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ…โค๏ธ

A massive well done to the CDL team who traveled to Budapest to compete against other schools! The games were intense, but through teamwork and determination, they secured an impressive 2nd place.

We are especially proud of our boarder, Julia, who played a key role in helping her team bring home both a medal and a trophy for the school. The trip was a fantastic experience filled with camaraderie, thrilling competition, and the magic of Budapest.

A huge thank you to all the coaches who made this incredible opportunity possible!

International Dinner – A Mexican Fiesta!

Tonight we enjoyed another fantastic international dinner, this time with the theme of Mexico! Our girls enjoyed soft corn tacos with shredded beef, tortilla chips with guacamole, and seasoned rice. For dessert, we were treated to cream puffs with chocolate and spices on top– the heat definitely surprised some of us! This meal was definitely a favorite among Terray with many of the girls going back for seconds. We are so thankful to be able to experience cuisine from around the world here at CDL!

Our Boarders Representing CDL in Budapest!

This morning, two of our boarders were selected to represent CDL as they travel to Budapest to compete alongside students from other schools in basketball and football tournaments. This is an incredible opportunity for them to showcase their skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship on an international stage.

We are extremely proud of their achievement and wish them the best of luck in the competition. Go, CDL! ๐Ÿ€โšฝโœจ

Bon Voyage!
