The water’s getting colder and colder, but that doesn’t stop these lot.

Congratulations to these two boys who represented Concha Annexe in the Boarding House quiz competition. Although we didn’t finish very high up in the results, we are in 4th place in the overall standings after two competitions. The next competition is the Pumpkin carving. Well done boys.

The assembly in Concha Annexe this week focused on E-safety. It is so important that students are safe, cautious and careful when using the variety of social media websites and the internet in other forms. We will continue along the same lines as this topic in the next couple of weeks before half term, with the next assembly focusing on Cyber-bullying.

One of the Concha Annexe boys is leaving us so, tonight, we had a send off for him. Good luck Luca.

Concha Annexe’s Boarder of the Month for September has gone to Chams. He has shown a tremendous amount of helpfulness, positive behaviour, progress, responsibility, initiative, enthusiasm and has set a great example to the other Boarders. Congratulations.

This afternoon, the Grade 9 boys returned from their ‘Discovery Days’ at the spectacular Chateau d’Oex. Over the last couple of days, the boys got the opportunity to do group navigation, the boat game, a high ropes course as well as many leadership games that focused on time management, team work and communication skills.

Alongside two other Boarding House, the Concha Annexe boys won the House Sports Day Competition. Congratulations Boys!! The next competition is the Boarding House Quiz!!

This afternoon, the Grade 10 boys returned from their ‘Discovery Days’ at the spectacular Chateau d’Oex. Over the last couple of days, the boys got the opportunity to do raft building, fire building with bush Craft, a high ropes course as well many leadership games which focused on time management, team work and communication skills.

This afternoon, the Concha Annexe boys joined forces with two other Boarding Houses in the annual Sports Competition. The boys worked well and tried very hard in what was the first Boarding House Competition of this school year.
