May’s Assembly

During this month’s assembly, which took place in bright sunshine and fresh air, many significant points were covered.

Mr Antonio presented the charity projects to the students, encouraging everyone to participate and have a positive impact on the local and global community. The first of these will be the 24-hour fun run challenge. It will collect money for thyroid cancer research.

Just 10 points from the podium! We fought, we competed, and we’re almost there! We can easily reach the podium if we maintain our competitive mindset and determination to win. As Optimus Prime said, ‘No victory without sacrifice’.

We were extremely excited to see the new boarding trips planned for the 2025/26 academic year, with exclusive destinations such as Monaco, Nice, Costa Rica and Florence.

Mr Mike presented the schedule for the coming weeks, which includes some exciting projects, such as a trip to Ticino — Switzerland’s most beautiful canton — and the Adventure Middle School Léman Journey. This involves cycling around Lake Léman, also known as Lake Geneva.

The Fitness Challenge has been a huge success, with today’s challenge being the Flip Bottle.

Mr Usher took the time to introduce a positive mindset and a variety of new activities that will be taking place over the next few weeks, particularly the water sports such as sailing and wakeboarding.
