Here’s a little snapshot of how this last week has been.
With all the smiles, meals and quality time spent together, there’s also been some unmade beds, some forgetfulness and some general silliness, but that’s all a part of the process.

Today, our Middle School lads plus Efe and Ege departed on a voyage across the lake to visit the picturesque town of Yvoire, in France.
Today our boys had their first busy Saturday!
While weekends are indeed for rest, it’s also important to use all that extra time to head outside, stay active or develop a new skill, and as such, we offer a really wide array of activities.
We missed the reading club over the summer, I’m sure some of us managed to get our heads down and read some chapters over the break but it’s not the same as reading collectively and sharing our thoughts, opinions and new vocabulary. It’s great to hear the pages turn and see the children’s brains at work – deep in their own imaginations. We will be running the reading club every Monday and Thursday as always here, on the Concha House sofas!
As an ice-breaker for new students to get to know one another, we organised a fun afternoon here in our garden. We had lots of games set up for team building and making sure the children work as a team together. Tug-o-war, problem sovling games, footbal matches, volleyball, swimming and also we had groups sent to the lake for banana boat session.
