Owen has been working on building this bird house for the last 2 weeks during the woodcrafting activity. He wanted to give the birds a new place to eat, sleep and visit.

Our Primary Boarders were thrilled to get the opportunity again to participate in a Woodcraft workshop on Saturday morning. Some of these boys were waiting a very long time for this moment. A perfect way to start the day, and the weekend. Another fun activity we can do together as a group.

Nothing wraps up a week of  hard work more than a well deserved movie night, with buckets of popcorn. Another valuable evening spent together as one.

A huge thank you to the senior students who have been in Concha this week to help our younger boys with their homework. It is amazing to have the help and support from the older students in our community. To want to help others regardless of age, nationality and ability, is an important value to us and it is wonderful to see it happening more and more.

This evening, we baked a delicious banana and pear bread for the boys for tomorrow after school! I hope you like it boys!

Winter is coming, but let’s enjoy the colours of autumn first. Beautiful bike ride this morning in Versoix.

Our programme of activities does not stop at CDL. It is true that due to new restrictions by the Swiss authorities we have to spend more time on campus but that is no reason for our boarders not to have a great time.

This weekend we had different clubs like Tennis table and Badminton, Bootcamp, Beauty and Fashion. We have also had the popular activities of tennis, woodcraft, cycling etc…

We love to see the children participating and interacting together in all these activities showing a clear example of community spirit.

During these difficult time it is fantastic to be surrounded by friend and to be able to celebrate such special moments as birthdays. Yesterday, in concha we had a small party to celebrate the birthday of our dear Bernardo 🙂
