After dinner is always a great time to shoot some hoops. We are lucky enough to have such a great space right outside our front door.

The first week of school has ended up being pretty memorable for everyone! Our Concha boys seem to get along well with one another. Our first-time boarders are enjoying this brand-new experience while making friends belonging to this international community. There is something that unites them all: sport passion! – concretely football.

No matter where they come from, a good football match at the Concha Boarding House is the best way for them to make good connections and become lifelong friends.

We have been very lucky today to have the best weather we could have asked for on this Saturday morning, the sun was really shining! The boys were up early to make the most of the day. We had Eduardo and Javi in Lake Léman skipping over the waves in the Bananaboat activity. João and Henrique joined the Tennis Club and worked on their technique. Juze spent some time on the local farm with some beautiful horses, doing some riding and caring for them. Gianni was in the Concha garden playing Beach Volleyball with some friends.

We can’t wait for another full morning of fun tomorrow!

Tonight, our new students were warmly welcomed with a traditional Swiss meal at their first dinner.

The feast featured hearty rösti, a variety of cheeses, and rich chocolate desserts, providing a true taste of the local culture. As they shared stories over the communal meal, the students quickly bonded, savoring both the delicious food and the start of their new journey together.

This authentic Swiss experience marked the beginning of lifelong friendships in their new home.

It’s amazing to have the Concha House and Leman Dining Hall full of laughter again! Lots of new faces are already settling in amongst our Boarding Community. Tonight we celebrated Swiss cuisine with many traditional Swiss dishes and of course lots of cheese and chocolate!

Our Concha reunion was a blast! Along with reconnecting, we welcomed new kids with a football match that had everyone cheering. The excitement didn’t stop there—our trip to the water park, filled with slides and splashes, was the perfect way to cool off and bond

With new friendships and unforgettable memories, this reunion was one for the books. Here’s to more fun and adventures at Villa Concha! 🏈💦

This evening Concha house enjoyed our very first outing to Lake Geneva.  We skimmed stones, played ball, and took a dip.  We’ve loved getting to know everyone and seeing the boys get to know each other has been a treat.
