This evening, we baked a delicious banana and pear bread for the boys for tomorrow after school! I hope you like it boys!

Our programme of activities does not stop at CDL. It is true that due to new restrictions by the Swiss authorities we have to spend more time on campus but that is no reason for our boarders not to have a great time.

This weekend we had different clubs like Tennis table and Badminton, Bootcamp, Beauty and Fashion. We have also had the popular activities of tennis, woodcraft, cycling etc…

We love to see the children participating and interacting together in all these activities showing a clear example of community spirit.

During these difficult time it is fantastic to be surrounded by friend and to be able to celebrate such special moments as birthdays. Yesterday, in concha we had a small party to celebrate the birthday of our dear Bernardo 🙂

Happy birthday from your CDL family !

Loris participated in the Boot Camp activity this morning which is one of the new activities on our CDL Boarding Clubs program.

Over recent weeks, we have introduced the new CDL Boarding Clubs program to give the students even more variety at the weekends! This evening, we introduced the Badminton and Table Tennis Club which targets all levels of players, and gives the students an opportunity to compete with people of their level!

Fady, Yuto, Loris, Owen, and Liam participated, and they all had a great time!

This week, the Boarding Department held the monthly Boarding Assembly online, and it was a great success!

The students enjoyed the interactive nature of the meeting, and the important topics of COVID-19, Respect and Diversity, news from the committees, the charity events, to name just a few.

This week, we have been celebrating Spirit week here at CDL. Spirit is one of our key principles and represents the ‘S’ in our school motto – RISE. As a Boarding community, we were able to produce this amazing video with all of our Boarding students present. The video is a wonderful representation of the togetherness and diversity that is permanent throughout our school.
