Ayaka & Alessia go paddleboarding!
Discovery Days
All our girls have been away on Discovery Days over the last two weeks and a great time was had by all; here’s a few photos from their time away.
Turning the bad into good!
Last night disaster struck as Coraline removed her jumper from the washing machine only to discover it had shrunk! Coraline and Andrea combined their artistic flairs and created a jumper for Coraline’s cuddly bunny to keep it warm in these autumnal evenings. Good job girls!

Scarlett came back to the boarding house and was greeted by these wonderful bouquets that her family had sent for her birthday. We’re glad you’re having such a good day lovely lady!
Weekend of Celebrations!
Happy Birthday to Irina, Scarlett and Aya who have all been celebrating their birthdays over the weekend!

Motto and Logo Competition
Well done to all our New Portena girls for taking part in the Motto Competition; the first House Challenge of the year. Diana, Katya, Tanya and Margie had amazing confidence to get up on stage in front of all the boarding community to explain our motto and logo and we came 5th! Amazing effort girls!
And congratulations to our neighbours Old Portena for taking home the win!
Chamonix et Mer de Glace
On Thursday it was Jeune Genevois, a local holiday; 13 of our New Portena girls headed to France for a trip to Chamonix and the Mer De Glace. Here’s a few photos from our fun day out!

Girls just want to have fun and we certainly did that at the boarding Welcome Dinner, and don’t we scrub up well!

A fun filled first weekend!
The girls have had a great weekend getting a glimpse of the activities they can take part in throughout the school year! This weekend we’ve enjoyed Horse Riding, Tennis and Body Shaping; today Jasmine, Becky and Coraline also headed into Geneva to take part in a treasure hunt around the city while doing some sightseeing along the way.

New Portena are now having a relaxing evening in the house before school starts again tomorrow – the girls are looking forward to starting their new activity programme this week and a chance to visit Chamonix and Mer de Glace on Thursday!
