Dear parents,

We want to share with you how happy and comfortable your daughters are at home. They have adapted wonderfully, and it’s a pleasure to see them so content and at ease in this environment. It brings us joy to watch them enjoy their time, whether participating in activities, playing, or simply relaxing.

It’s clear that they feel safe and loved, which contributes to their well-being and development. We appreciate the trust you’ve placed in us, and we are here to continue supporting them in whatever they need.

Yesterday in Portena we had the celebration of Ashley’s birthday. The girls came downstairs to surprise her and to be part of this special day.

Lights went out and we all started singing “Happy Birthday” to this wonderful student.

Ashley made a wish when blowing the candles, we hope her wish comes true!😁🎂

Once a month we will be hosting a dinner in Portena. This time we got Italian food: lasagna and tiramisu.

The girls enjoyed a lot this dinner because we were all together and it was a nice opportunity to talk to each other for a long time.

We are looking forward for the next one!!😁

Last night all the girls were reunited for our weekly meeting in the house. We talked about many important things concerning organization and rules.

After the meeting, it was time for baking. Ms.Fana and Ms.Lauriane were in charge of the baking part but we all tried a piece of the amazing marble cake. Love was the most important ingredient of the recipe.

Yesterday some teachers of CDL came to see our house. We had a lovely time all together. Teachers, students and House Parents having some snacks, chatting and chilling.

They got to see where their students do their lifes after school. They were very happy with Portena house and the beautiful rooms they have.

We are so glad to announce that four out of the ten prefects of CDL are from Portena! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

They have been selected thanks to their good grades and behavior and it makes us happy that these students will serve as an example to follow for the rest of the school.

This weekend the girls have spent a spectacular weekend doing different activities such as cooking, tennis, badminton, running, etc. They all came back home very happy.

Now that Sunday is almost over, they are all set to start the next week. Will be a super exciting week in which they will go on an excursion to the mountain. The excitement is already felt in this house! 😁

Last night some of our girls joined to play the game “Loup-Garous”. Wolves trying not to be discovered against the innocents trying to survive and unmask the wolves with uncertainty.

A night that we will surely repeat!
