During these sessions, students can choose their own books. This freedom makes reading enjoyable and encourages exploration of different genres.

Dear All,
During the first weekend following the October break, our girls had the opportunity to engage in a variety of activities, including rock climbing, horse riding, and stretching. In their leisure time, some chose to explore the city of Geneva, while others preferred to remain at home to relax, complete their homework, and prepare for the upcoming week. It has been a busy and enjoyable weekend for everyone involved.
As we conclude this weekend’s activities, I would like to extend my thanks to all parents for your continued support and encouragement. We appreciate your involvement in our community and the positive impact it has on our girls. Wishing you all a wonderful week ahead filled with joy and success.

Today was not only a special day because it was Halloween, but also because it was Malu’s birthday!
She has had a wonderful and spooky day at the same time, she has dressed and made up to go trick or treating and has enjoyed her day with her friends both from Portena and from Boarding.

During the October break, a group of our brave girls from Portena embarked on an exciting journey to Tanzania, and we can’t wait to share all the amazing experiences they had.
From the moment they landed, they knew it was going to be a magical experience. The girls immersed themselves in nature and explored the beauty of wildlife on an unforgettable safari. They saw lions 🦁, giraffes 🦒, and elephants 🐘 in their natural habitat—an experience they will never forget! Of course, they couldn’t miss out on the crystal-clear waters of Tanzania’s beaches. The girls swam and played in the ocean, creating memories that they will cherish forever.
Now, with hearts full of memories and adventures, and after having some two good weeks to rest, the girls are starting to arrive to CDL, so it’s time to return to the school routine. The next two months will be intense, with plenty of studying and preparing for Christmas, but we are sure they will be unforgettable!

Last night we had the opportunity to attend the official induction ceremony of NHS with two of our students.
For those who don’t know, the National Honor Society (NHS) is a club for high school students who are not only smart but also show leadership, do community service, and have good character. If you have a strong GPA and are involved in school activities, you might be invited to join. It’s a way to celebrate students who are doing great things and encourage them to keep it up.
We are happy to inform you that He HE (Mei Mei) and Vice VERCELLI have the opportunity of having a role this special day. Bice is the secretary of this program at CDL so she had the opportunity of giving a wonderful speech and Mei Mei joined as a new member.

As the last weekend before the October break, the girls at Portena made the most of their time together! They enjoyed a variety of activities, including horse riding 🏇, cooking🥣, and golf🏌️♀️and so much more. Despite the excitement, they also managed to squeeze in study sessions to prepare for their upcoming exams. It was a weekend full of fun and productivity, perfectly balancing leisure with academics.
Now, they’re ready to tackle their exams and look forward to a well-deserved break!
