Last weekend our Grades 11 and 12 got to discover Verbier doing amazing activities. Here there are some more pictures about the girls enjoying their activities. 😁

This weekend, the girls enjoyed an incredible Mountain Weekend in Leysin and Verbier, filled with outdoor adventures and nature.

From mountain biking 🚵🏼‍♀️ and all-day hikes🏃🏼‍♀️ to rock climbing 🧗🏻‍♀️, orienteering 🧭 and much more, so they fully immersed themselves in the stunning landscapes.

It was not only a chance to reconnect with nature but also an opportunity to strengthen their bonds with each other, meet new students, and get to know more some of the staff.

A truly memorable weekend full of excitement, discovery, and friendship! 🤩

We are so glad to announce that four out of the ten prefects of CDL are from Portena! 🤜🏻🤛🏻

They have been selected thanks to their good grades and behavior and it makes us happy that these students will serve as an example to follow for the rest of the school.

This weekend the girls have spent a spectacular weekend doing different activities such as cooking, tennis, badminton, running, etc. They all came back home very happy.

Now that Sunday is almost over, they are all set to start the next week. Will be a super exciting week in which they will go on an excursion to the mountain. The excitement is already felt in this house! 😁

Last night some of our girls joined to play the game “Loup-Garous”. Wolves trying not to be discovered against the innocents trying to survive and unmask the wolves with uncertainty.

A night that we will surely repeat!

Friday night was a movie night in Portena house! The girls decided to watch the disney movie “Vaiana” and they had a lovely time all together.

In the first week of school the girls have not only been busy with lessons but they have also had a lot of activities where they have been able to bond with their new classmates or just have fun with their friends from other years, who have missed each other a lot during the summer.

This Thursday we also had the welcoming assembly for both new and old boarding students and the new staff and after that the international Swiss dinner took place, where to find delicious Swiss food! 🧀🍫

We are very proud to announce to you that 4 of the 12 prefects selected at CDL are from Portena house. They have been chosen for their personal and academic excellence so we feel very happy about them living in our community.

We had the opportunity to go to Aquapark yesterday afternoon. The girls were very excited about it and they had lots of fun going down the water slides. It was a very sunny day so it has been the perfect journey before starting classes and focusing on their studies. 🙂
