Today was the sixth house competition of the school year; Masterchef. New Portena were given the challenge of making a Starter and the girls decided to focus on the diversity of our house to create a colourful and healthy dish.
Well done Dahlia, Natalina, Irina, Alessia and Alina! And a big thank you to Dahlia’s Mum for Facetiming us and making sure we didn’t face any culinary disasters.

Today we had a new arrival in New Portena as Romina has joined our boarding family.

This week we’ve had two birthday’s to celebrate in New Portena!
Alina turned 15 and Ayaka turned 17.

Tonight we enjoyed an amazing Mexican dinner with a fajita feast and musical entertainment!
This weekend the girls enjoyed activities such as tennis and a trip to the Olympic Museum in Lausanne!
It was lovely to see all the girl’s smiling faces arriving back in the house over the weekend. Here’s to another busy term of hard work and new activities. Welcome back girls!
On Saturday afternoon the girls had fun playing the song Riptide with Costanza. The group will be back in two weeks.

This morning Grade 10 attended the United Nations open day and got a chance to get a closer look at the incredible grounds of this worldwide organisation!
