This weekend at Collรจge du Lรฉman, Aleksei, Ilya, and Maksim had an amazing time climbing. They tackled the climbing wall with enthusiasm and determination, pushing themselves to reach new heights and overcome challenges. Their teamwork and support for each other were evident as they encouraged and cheered on their fellow climbers. It was a memorable experience for them, and they left the climbing wall feeling accomplished and exhilarated.

Meanwhile, Ayu, Richard and Gary had a fantastic time in the kitchen. They teamed up to cook a delicious meal, working together to chop ingredients, follow recipes, and create culinary masterpieces. Their passion for cooking and their ability to collaborate made the experience enjoyable and successful. They showcased their creativity and culinary skills, impressing both themselves and others with their delectable dishes. Welcome back, food enthusiasts! Today, we have an exciting story to share from the Olympus Boarding House, where students recently indulged in a remarkable dinner. The culinary experience featured an exquisite menu that tantalized taste buds and left everyone with unforgettable memories. Join us as we dive into the delightful dishes that graced the students’ plates: Royal Couscous, Carrot Salad, and Lemon Tart. ๐Ÿ˜‹

The Main Course: Royal Couscous.

The centrepiece of the evening was the Royal Couscous, a dish that exemplifies the rich and diverse flavours of Mediterranean cuisine. This hearty and fragrant couscous was prepared with tender pieces of succulent meat, such as lamb or chicken, accompanied by an array of colourful vegetables. The harmonious blend of spices, including cumin, coriander, and saffron, infused the dish with an aromatic and irresistible allure. Each spoonful offered a delightful burst of flavours that transported the students’ palates to the vibrant streets of North Africa.

A Refreshing Accompaniment: Carrot Salad.

International Dinner- Lebanon

We held another international dinner this week featuring Lebanese cuisine, which was a hit with everyone who attended. The dinner showcased a variety of flavorful dishes, including Kibbeh, Fattoush Salad, Hummus, Tabouli, Shawarma, and Baklava. Students and staff enjoyed the opportunity to learn more about Lebanese culture and culinary traditions while sampling a wide range of flavours and textures. The event was a wonderful way to bring the boarding community together to celebrate diversity and explore new cultures. Overall, the Lebanese dinner was a huge success, and we look forward to next year’s international dinner!

This weekend at Collรจge du Lรฉman School was a weekend full of excitement, adventure, and giving back, as students took part in various activities such as badminton, tennis, basketball, climbing, cooking, training in the fitness room, a trip to Madrid, stretching and relaxation, and a Football for All charity tournament.

On the badminton and tennis courts, Murat and Nikolai enjoyed some friendly competition, challenging each other to improve their skills and techniques. It was an excellent way for students to socialize while also staying active and healthy.

The basketball court was buzzing with energy as students worked on their dribbling, passing, and shooting skills, and played games against each other. The weekend was an excellent opportunity for Adi and Murat to develop their teamwork and communication skills while having fun and staying fit.

The fitness room was available for students to train and improve their physical fitness, with experienced trainers available to provide guidance and support. It was a great way for Richard to stay healthy and active while also learning new exercises and techniques.

At the climbing wall, students were able to challenge themselves to push beyond their limits and reach new heights. It was a great way for Navidreza, Aleksei, Ilya and Herman to build confidence and resilience while supporting and encouraging their classmates.

In the kitchen, students participated in a cooking competition where Richard and Ayu prepared and presented a variety of dishes. It was a fun and educational experience, allowing students to learn new culinary skills and showcase their creativity and teamwork.

The Madrid trip was a highlight of the weekend, with students exploring the city and learning about Spanish culture and history. They visited famous landmarks, tried local cuisine, and enjoyed shopping and sightseeing. It was a great opportunity for Lael to immerse himself in a new culture and create unforgettable memories.

The stretching and relaxation activities allowed students to destress and unwind after a busy weekend. Artem practised relaxation techniques to calm their minds and bodies.

Finally, the Football for All charity tournament was a great way for students to give back to the community while also having fun. The game brought together students from different schools and backgrounds to raise awareness and funds for a charitable cause. We are very proud Ryunosuke, Aoto, Nikita, Maksim, Herman, Navidreza, and Adam were Olympus’ representatives in the tournament. Thank you to Martin that wanted to organise this tournament and Mr Antonio and Ms Lucรฉlia for having been in charge of this event.

Overall, this weekend at Olympus School was a fantastic opportunity for students to have fun, learn new skills, and give back to the community. Whether playing sports, cooking, exploring a new city, or supporting a charitable cause, students had a great time and came away with new experiences and memories that they will cherish.

Olympus Gladiators vs Villa du Lac & Franconis โšฝ match

Fair play is a fundamental value in any sport, and the Olympus football team demonstrated their commitment to this value in the match against the Lรฉman team. The Olympus students played with great sportsmanship, respecting their opponents and playing with a high level of ethics at all times.

In addition to fair play, the students on the Olympus football team also showed other important values in the match, such as teamwork, dedication, and perseverance. These values are essential for any sports team and are crucial for achieving long-term success.

In summary, the students on the Olympus football team are an example of how sports can be used to teach important values such as fair play, teamwork, and dedication. They demonstrated these values in the football match against the Villa du Lac & Franconis team and are a role model for all football players and athletes in general.

Olympus students had a great weekend engaging in various outdoor activities that allowed them to stay active and have fun.

Climbing is an exciting activity that requires physical strength and mental focus. Aleksei, Maksim, and Herman enjoyed their climbing experience. It can be a challenging sport, but it is also very rewarding to push oneself to new heights (literally!).

Tennis is another popular sport that can be enjoyed individually or with friends. It requires coordination, strategy, and quick reflexes, so it is wonderful that Bohdan and Ayu had a wonderful time playing tennis. It is always fun to get some exercise while also socializing with friends.

Golf is a sport that requires precision and patience, and it’s awesome that Otabek and Adi had a great time playing together. It’s also a fantastic opportunity to spend time outdoors and enjoy the beautiful scenery of the golf course.

Overall, Olympus students had a great weekend exploring their interests and trying out new activities.
