Tanzania & Zanzibar Trip

We’re excited to share that we’re back from the October break and ready to dive into the new half term with fresh energy and enthusiasm! We hope that all of you enjoyed some quality time with your families and that our students are returning well-rested and motivated.

As for us, Dima, Heloisa, and I have just returned from the Nord Anglia Expedition to Tanzania and Zanzibar — an unforgettable journey filled with learning, service, and adventure.

In Tanzania, our group worked closely with local communities, contributing to the construction of a boarding school for girls and engaging in a variety of community support projects. We also had the incredible opportunity to experience a safari, observing some of Africa’s most iconic wildlife in their natural habitat.

After a week of hard work and exploration, we travelled to Zanzibar, where we enjoyed some well-deserved rest and reflection time by the ocean — the perfect way to recharge before returning to classes.

It was truly an inspiring experience for all of us, combining education, service, and cultural discovery — and we’re looking forward to bringing those lessons and memories back into our classrooms and daily lives.

🗻Mountains and Sports⚽🏸

This long weekend, our students had the opportunity to recharge and enjoy a wide range of activities and excursions — or simply take some well-deserved rest. Whether they chose to explore, connect with friends, or unwind, there was something for everyone.

As the end of the school year approaches, things may be winding down academically, but here at the boarding house, we’re still buzzing with energy and activity. The countdown is on, but the spirit remains strong!

⛰️ Orientation Weekend at the Mountain 🏐

This weekend our group of boarders traveled to the beautiful mountains of Valais to enjoy a intense and joyful program of activities.

Olekseii joined the Hiking group during the morning of Saturday.

At the camp the students challenged the staff on a basketball game.

Intensity was high and their motivation to beat the house parents even higher.

The boys also went on a mountain trottinette tour with amazing views.

The boys also had time to play football.

And of course they did not miss the opportunity to play tennis like every weekend.

There was also several challenges against the other boarding houses.

Another fantastic trip with CDL. The group is exhausted but with a lot of new experiences in their memories.
