A Sweet Experience: Chocolate Workshop with Klara Krueger from Hotelschool The Hague

We were delighted to welcome Klara Krueger from Hotelschool The Hague to our school recently for an engaging workshop centered around the world of chocolate. Klara, guided us through the fascinating journey of chocolate preparation.

During the workshop, Klara walked us through the various stages of chocolate making, from the cocoa bean to the final product. Her insightful presentation not only shed light on the intricate process but also sparked our curiosity about the art and science of chocolate craftsmanship.

The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the chocolate tasting session, where we had the opportunity to savor chocolates of different qualities. From rich and velvety dark chocolates to creamy milk chocolates.

Klara’s expertise extended beyond the workshop content as she graciously took the time to answer questions from our students.

The workshop not only expanded our knowledge of chocolate but also provided a glimpse into the world of hospitality.

Villa du Lac – Weekend

During the weekend, our girls had a busy schedule, diving into various activities to relax and stay active. They tried their hand at tennis and body shaping, explored Pilates and stretching, maximizing their time to balance physical fitness and relaxation.

In addition to the fitness routines, the girls also explored the art of cooking, experimenting with different recipes and culinary techniques.

To add a touch of winter magic, the girls ventured into the world of ice skating, gliding gracefully across the rink.

And they also had the chance to go skiing in Verbier in the Swiss Alps with the Ski Club.

Over the weekend, our girls also embarked on an unforgettable journey to Rome, and the excitement is still lingering in the air as they return with beaming smiles and unforgettable memories.

The trip was truly captivating, as the girls explored the deep history and lively culture of the Eternal City. Visiting iconic sites like the Colosseum and Vatican City, every step revealed the grandeur of Rome.

As the echoes of “Ciao, Roma!” linger, our girls have returned with hearts full of gratitude, new perspectives, and a newfound appreciation for the beauty that surrounds them. Rome may be known as the Eternal City, but for our girls, the memories created during this weekend are equally timeless.
