We are super proud to announce that the β€˜β€™boarder of the weekβ€˜β€™ is……………. Paria !!!!!!

It goes without saying that Paria is a real artist, and thanks to her we got the SECOND PLACE in the pumpkin competition. And not only for her art, but also for her companionship and participation in every the boarding actions.

Thank you very much for being always present and for your light and your smile.

THANK YOU PARIA <3

Dinner in the house

American dinner night at the boarding house was a hit! The girls loved classic comfort foods like mac and cheese, fried chicken, and apple pie. With lots of laughter and second helpings, everyone enjoyed a cosy, homey evening together. A truly memorable meal!

Assembly: what’s to come

Today at Assembly we had some very special moments and caught up on what’s coming up in the school calendar.

To begin with, we had the pleasure of listening to Sedef playing the piano. His performance was truly inspiring. These types of performances not only allow us to enjoy the art, but also to support our fellow students in their achievements and passions.

Afterwards, we had a talk about the recent trip to Tanzania, which took place during the October break. They shared with us the experiences and stories that our colleagues went through there, from the visits to local communities to the cultural learning and service activities they undertook. It was certainly an enriching trip, and one that left a lasting impression on them and on those of us listening to their stories today.

We also took the opportunity to review some of the important events coming up, which will allow us to enjoy different activities and maintain our community spirit. L’Escalade, a historic and fun celebration in which we all take an active part. In addition, the Charity Committee is preparing for the Christmas activities, inviting everyone to get involved in solidarity and fundraising initiatives, to make this time even more meaningful.

They also talked about the mountain and ski weekend.

Today has been an Assembly full of inspiration and excitement for what is to come – let’s keep building memories together!

WELCOME BACK! A memorable journey to Tanzania

Welcome back everyone!

From VDL, we hope you have returned from the break feeling refreshed and ready for a new term.

For those who joined the Tanzania trip, we’re certain it’s left an indelible mark on your minds and hearts. Let’s take a moment to reflect on the experiences you shared during our two weeks in Tanzania, a journey that blended community service with the beauty of discovery and relaxation.

In the first week, you took part in a meaningful project, helping to build vital infrastructure alongside local communities. This experience was not only about getting our hands a bit dirty but about learning the importance of service, teamwork, and resilience. Each conversation shared taught you lessons in collaboration and empathy that go beyond the classroom.

The second week brought you to the scene shores of Zanzibar. After days of hard work, you enjoyed the breathtaking beaches, crystal-clear water and a chance to unwind. This was a time for reflection, bonding and celebrating the friendships we strengthened. The beauty of Zanzibar reminded us of the significance of balance in life-of dedicating ourselves to hard work but also finding time to rest and recharge.

We are grateful to each student who participated, bringing energy, kindness, and open-mindedness to every moment. Your commitment to making difference and embracing new experiences has set a wonderful tone for the term ahead.

Here’s to an inspiring term full of growth, learning, and new adventures!
