The Concha Annexe boys enjoyed another fantastic weekend in Crans Montana for the second Mountain Weekend. The boys had the wonderful opportunity to ski and snowboard, as well as other snow activities including snowtubing, ice skating and curling.

This week we had our house assembly on Conflict resolution. We discovered both the different kinds of, and the best, ways you can resolve a conflict situation and settle a dispute, big or small. The boys got an opportunity to share their experiences, how they have dealt with things in the past and how they would do things differently looking back now.

This week we talked about the important issue of low self esteem.

We covered:

• What self esteem means,
• How low self esteem can have a negative effect on your emotional state,
• How we tackle low self esteem,
• How we can recognise low self esteem in other individuals and what dangers there are in making them feel worse.

I was thrilled with the fantastic level of interest and participation from the boys.

The students visited Crans Montana at the weekend for the first Mountain weekend. The Concha Annexe boys had the opportunity to enjoy a host of amazing activities including, skiing, snowboarding, sledging, ice skating and many many more. We are aleady looking forward to the next.

Wind, rain or snow will not stop these boys playing in their beloved football tournament.  Congratulations to Chams who played very very well in the match against our neighbours in Concha. Thanks also, of course, to Arian for his valued support.

Concha Annexe is now open for the 2nd Marking Period. We would like to wish everybody a very Happy New Year!! We hope everyone had a restful holiday and we look forward to welcoming all the boys back into the Boarding House. We wish them all the successes and happiness they deserve for this term.
