Relaxing time at the lake.

It is always nice to come to Lake Geneva, both in summer, to enjoy the many water activities we offer,  and in winter to enjoy the magnificent views of the snowy mountains and also to greet our friends the ducks.

Weekend Update 1/2 – Saturday

This weekend started with a cold but desired snowfall on Friday! The kids were really excited and happy to have seen snow.

As usual, on the weekends, we are used to rest but also to do a lot of activities during the day. This Saturday from bootcamp to tennis to cooking where we are seeing a lot of interest from all our kids. Will we have a full house cooking next week?

Besides these activities, yesterday we participated in the Light for Hope initiative to show our solidarity with the Lebanese people. It is very gratifying to see how during the development of our pillar number 2, our children have shown great support and solidarity with those in disadvantaged situations.

We will keep you posted on what happens tomorrow that will surely be as incredible or better than today!

Light for HOPE 🇱🇧 – Supporting the Lebanese community

Yesterday we commemorated and showed our respect and solidarity with the entire Lebanese community. Six months after the explosion in the port of Beirut, the country is still trying to recover from this disaster.

The CdL community devised and implemented the Light for Hope project. At 18:07 (time of the explosion in Beirut) all the Boarding House gathered around the flag of the Libano, and illuminated it with lights as a symbol of hope.

In addition to this and many other solidarity initiatives such as the donation of toys and food for those less privileged in CdL we show our commitment to those who need it most.

A fine evening for baking – Sasha’s Charity Initiative

This evening Sasha did some baking, with the help of his housemates. We made delicious banana bread that we will donate to a school bake sale tomorrow. The money from the bake sale will be donated to UNICEF. Sasha was very passionate about doing this and finds it very important that we all do a bit to help those in need – wherever they are in the world. Thank you for this amazing work, Sasha.
