This past Tuesday evening was dedicated to a showcase of all the talent across the boarding houses. Indeed, it was an enthralling evening with memorable dance performances, videos and music. We would like to congratulate the overall winners, Ferrari http://blogs.cdl.ch/ferrari/ for their exceptional neon dance routine and Champs de Bois http://blogs.cdl.ch/champdesbois/ for an insightful look into their boarding house life! 😉

The evening ended with the Awards Ceremony and certain students were awarded medals for their excellent achievement over the 2nd marking period with the categories of Activities Award, (From Old Portena: Elizaveta U and Sabi)  The Boarding Life Award (Anna N and Daria N) and Academic Excellence Award (Ornella M and Carmiel Z). Well done girls!

Yesterday we went to the Botanic Gardens as there was no school. There were amazing colourful flowers. Then we walked into town and did our shopping. It was a great sunny day but we were very tired afterwards. Thanks to Rosana and Jamie for taking photos for us!
