This weekend at Collège du Léman School was a weekend full of excitement, adventure, and giving back, as students took part in various activities such as badminton, tennis, basketball, climbing, cooking, training in the fitness room, a trip to Madrid, stretching and relaxation, and a Football for All charity tournament.
On the badminton and tennis courts, Murat and Nikolai enjoyed some friendly competition, challenging each other to improve their skills and techniques. It was an excellent way for students to socialize while also staying active and healthy.
The basketball court was buzzing with energy as students worked on their dribbling, passing, and shooting skills, and played games against each other. The weekend was an excellent opportunity for Adi and Murat to develop their teamwork and communication skills while having fun and staying fit.
The fitness room was available for students to train and improve their physical fitness, with experienced trainers available to provide guidance and support. It was a great way for Richard to stay healthy and active while also learning new exercises and techniques.
At the climbing wall, students were able to challenge themselves to push beyond their limits and reach new heights. It was a great way for Navidreza, Aleksei, Ilya and Herman to build confidence and resilience while supporting and encouraging their classmates.
In the kitchen, students participated in a cooking competition where Richard and Ayu prepared and presented a variety of dishes. It was a fun and educational experience, allowing students to learn new culinary skills and showcase their creativity and teamwork.
The Madrid trip was a highlight of the weekend, with students exploring the city and learning about Spanish culture and history. They visited famous landmarks, tried local cuisine, and enjoyed shopping and sightseeing. It was a great opportunity for Lael to immerse himself in a new culture and create unforgettable memories.
The stretching and relaxation activities allowed students to destress and unwind after a busy weekend. Artem practised relaxation techniques to calm their minds and bodies.
Finally, the Football for All charity tournament was a great way for students to give back to the community while also having fun. The game brought together students from different schools and backgrounds to raise awareness and funds for a charitable cause. We are very proud Ryunosuke, Aoto, Nikita, Maksim, Herman, Navidreza, and Adam were Olympus’ representatives in the tournament. Thank you to Martin that wanted to organise this tournament and Mr Antonio and Ms LucΓ©lia for having been in charge of this event.
Overall, this weekend at Olympus School was a fantastic opportunity for students to have fun, learn new skills, and give back to the community. Whether playing sports, cooking, exploring a new city, or supporting a charitable cause, students had a great time and came away with new experiences and memories that they will cherish.
