A group of the Concha boys took to the Primary Dome to serve up some of their ace tennis skills.

Fridavs and Andrew took to the kitchen this Saturday morning to cook up some fancy spicy tacos – scrumptious!

Move over Gordan Ramsey – two new chef prodigies are on the rise!

Every Wednesday here at CDL, we, as a boarding community, get to enjoy an International Meal from a different country every week from around the world. This week, we had a Thai evening.

And while the spice may have knocked the boys back, it didn’t keep them down. It was absolutely brilliant and went down a treat! Thank you to all the kitchen staff who always put in so much effort to keep us well fed.

We were truely on a mission to Thai the knot with this delicious meal!

However, despite all the trips and fun had this weekend, the true cherry on top of the entire weekend, was the opportunity to celebrate Joe’s birthday!

This milestone deserves a special celebration, and with a nice slice of chocolate cake – that’s the proper way to start the party!

There’s no time for posing for photos when theres cake to devour!

The highlight (not to be too biased) from the activities of the weekend, the cream of the crop – or the cream of the castle, so to speak – was the the magical escapde taken to explore the wonderous Disneyland Paris.

To see the boys had a magical time would be an understatement; with a whopping fifteen glorious hours clocked out in the park over Saaturday and Sunday; the crew got to truly experience eveyrthing the Mouse had to offer.

With attratcions and characters ranging from classic Disney, to Star Wars and Marvel; there was no shortage of things to do.

A truly magical time had by all. Thank you to all the Trip Staff for your fantastic effort in making all the pieces come together; it was throughly apprecited and certainly well enjoyed!

Vincent and Muhan had the time of their lives; its just a shame you can’t see all the merchandise at their feet that they had to drop when asked to pose!

Meeting the legendary Goofy: the only character who makes ‘Goofing around’ an art form. (Even for staff!)

On Sunday, some of the Concha boys had the opportunity to go to the Walibi Amusement Park.

From terrifying gravity defying and high speed rides to the classic, calm and peacful, Merry-Go-Rounds – there was no shortage of fun activities for the boys to choose from.

Highly recommended!

It was a hectic & action packed weekend here at CDL with the Concha boys.

First up on the agenda, a group of the lads got to go and watch the derby match between Servette FC and Lausanne at Stade de Genéve stadium.

A thrilling match from start to end, ending in a 2 – 1 victory for Servette.

A happier lad I’ve never seen!

A couple of Concha’s finest, Muhan and Daniel, experienced the joys of rafting this morning. Rafting through the Swiss countryside – heaven!

Andrew and Joe took to the chess board this afternoon, in a duel so legendary, it’s fit for the history books.

There were no rook-y mistakes in this battle between two Grandmasters!

Joe & gang threw it up a gear this Saturday and took off on a run, enjoying the natural beauty of the town with every step.

With the rate he was going, he must’ve been trying to get over to France to watch Ireland vs South Africa in person! COYBIG!
