A Refreshing Start: Louis Degallier Boarders Enjoy Their First Weekend Together

After a busy first week of school and settling into their new home, the boarders of Louis Degallier enjoyed a well-deserved weekend filled with both fun and relaxation. Students had the chance to take part in different activities, ranging from playing golf to enjoying water sports at the lake. Many also made the most of the gym in the mornings, keeping active and healthy while setting a positive routine for the term ahead.

Alongside leisure and exercise, the weekend offered the perfect opportunity to prepare for the upcoming week. The boarders dedicated time to completing their school assignments and took some time to relax and share quality moments together in the boarding house. The combination of productive study time, engaging activities, and social bonding created a balanced and enjoyable atmosphere, helping everyone feel more at home and ready to face the term with confidence.

A Strong Start: Louis Degallier 60 Hosts First House Meeting of the Year

Tonight marked a special milestone for Louis Degallier 60 Boarding House as we held our very first official house meeting of the year. The evening began in high spirits with a fun and competitive Blind Test (Musical Quiz), where students enthusiastically put their music knowledge to the test. Tonight, our winners were Evan and Nicolas. They demonstrated great musical knowledge and teamwork. It was a great opportunity for the boarders to relax, bond, and enjoy some light-hearted competition together.

Following the quiz, the meeting moved into a more informative section, where key announcements and updates were shared with the house. Among the highlights was the upcoming Orientation Mountain Weekend, scheduled to take place in just two weeks. This exciting event will provide boarders with the chance to connect further, explore the outdoors, and build lasting memories early in the school year. Overall, the evening was a successful blend of entertainment and information, fostering a sense of anticipation for the weeks ahead.

Our Louis Degallier 60 boarders recently came together to celebrate Mikhail and Bohdan’s birthday, marking the occasion with plenty of smiles and good spirit. It was a simple but meaningful gathering, giving everyone the chance to relax, enjoy each other’s company, and share in the celebration. Moments like these bring our community closer and remind us of the importance of spending time together.

Super Friday Fun in the Sun

This Friday, our Louis Degallier Boarders enjoyed a memorable afternoon filled with laughter, teamwork, and energy in the beautiful Concha garden of CDL. The afternoon was alive with activity as students immersed themselves in friendly competitions of volleyball, cheered each other on during rope tugging matches, and took part in team building activities.

The highlight of the day was an exhilarating aqua-tubing session on the lake, which offered a thrilling mix of speed, splashes, and adrenaline. Students held tight as they bounced across the water. This fun and refreshing day perfectly proved to be a wonderful opportunity for our Louis Degallier family to strengthen bonds and enjoy the very best of what CDL has to offer.

New Faces, New Journeys, and a Warm Welcome at CDL

Today was an exciting day at CDL as our Boarding Community welcomed for the first time the newly enrolled students.
After their long journeys, our new students and their families were able to settle in their new homes and meet with House Parents and Staff.

The day began with a memorable first Boarding Assembly, open to both Parents and Boarders, followed by a warm welcome cocktail in the gardens of Concha, where families and students shared exciting stories about their summer experiences.

To close the day, our new boarders took part in the annual treasure hunt, which gave our Louis Degallier 60 students the chance to explore the campus and get to know one another.
