House Competition: 1st Event – Sports Day
After an exhilarating week of Mountain Days and Discovery Week, our boarding students wrapped up their adventures with a burst of energy and team spirit during today’s Sports Day House Competition. The past days have been filled with exploration, bonding, and personal growth, and today’s events perfectly captured the spirit of unity and friendly competition that defines life at Collège du Léman.
Our boys dove into the final challenge with enthusiasm, taking part in a series of fun and dynamic team games that had everyone cheering. From the hilarious coordination of the Three-Legged Race to the precision and skill of the Frisbee Shot, every event brought out the best in our students. The Bucket Fill-Up tested not just physical endurance but also strategy and cooperation, as teams raced against the clock to fill their containers using only sponges and sheer determination.
Throughout the day, the atmosphere was electric – laughter, encouragement, and high-fives were everywhere. It was a perfect way to celebrate the end of a week filled with outdoor exploration and new experiences. More than just a sports competition, the event reminded us of the strength of our boarding community, where each student plays a vital role and shared memories are made every day.
Mountain Weekend in Verbier
This weekend, we had a fantastic experience in Verbier, a renowned and iconic village in the Valais canton. Under a brilliant sun, the students enjoyed a variety of activities, including rock climbing, basketball, a quiz game, and mountain biking. We wrapped up the weekend with a barbecue before heading back to campus to rest and prepare for the upcoming Discovery Days.
