This weekend had a bit of everything: creativity, effort, surprises, and some really nice moments of connection.

On Friday night, Paria dedicated her entire evening to making a birthday “carrot cake” for Lucia. When I say carrot cake, I mean actual carrots held together with hummus. It took ages, and I wasn’t sure it was going to come together, but Paria stuck with it. In the end, she absolutely pulled it off, and it looked really good. A lot of patience and determination went into that cake.

Rochelle spent time at art and then decided to take on the challenge of making salt bread which is not the easiest thing to get right. She didn’t really believe it would work, but I did, and honestly… it turned out so good. Definitely one of those moments where you surprise yourself by just giving it a go.

Meanwhile, Emma and Vale took a little trip to Megève to reunite with Etoile and Marcella, who graduated last year. They spent time on the slopes, caught up properly, and had a great time being back together. From the smiles and stories, it sounds like it was exactly what they needed.

All in all, it was a weekend of trying things that felt hard, showing up for each other, and enjoying being together.
