A few weeks ago the girls planted seeds to grow radishes, garlic, strawberries, lavender, peppers and artichokes. These have now grown big enough to be planted in the garden! Last night they worked hard to dig the soil and plant all the plants. The girls will soon be able to go and eat and cook with all of the fruit and vegetables that they have been growing!

Tanya came to talk about life in New Portena and to show us her bedroom. Our Grade 8/9 girls are beginning to make decisions about which house to move into in August and begin the transition phase!

Sofia had a fantastic performance in the drama show tonight. We’re all very proud of her and it’s clear she is quite the talented actress.

On Saturday, Amy and Elina represented the school in a badminton competition against other schools nearby. They had a great day with some very tough matches. We’re very proud of our athletes!
