WELL DONE GIRLS!!!

Before the Boarding Awards tomorrow, this evening we had the Old Portena House Awards. The girls won a range of prizes for their academic achievements over the past term and all the A’s that they managed to achieve in their Summative tests. Along with their prize, they were presented with a certificate of who is ‘Most Likely To…Become President, Own a Chocolate Factory, Win a Nobel Prize…Become a Famous Talk Show Host…and the list went on. We are very proud of all the hard work that the girls have put in and their range of personalities makes for a very lively and exciting Boarding House!

We’ve had a busy weekend in the house and lots of sporting achievements- Irina won her volleyball tournament and Sofia and Katya played four football matches on Saturday and won them all, a very big congratulations girls! Today we visited the Christmas markets in Montreux for some shopping and also had a Christmas market at school which Sophie and Herluce enjoyed going to! 

Scarlett has been teaching us the Constitution of the United States of America while Margie had been singing the Star-Spangled Banner. To top it off, they are having lunch together in the American Diner!

JingYi spent this afternoon making this beautiful gold sparkly poster for her friend’s birthday!
