Discover Geneva

In the first week-end of the school year, most new students took part on the Geneva trip. This trip aims at showing this beautiful city to the new students and telling a little about its fantastic history.

Here are some photos of this great afternoon.

CDL in Colombia

Meet Patricia Jaquet, Collège du Léman Director of Admissions and Marketing, in Colombia from Thursday 31st August until Saturday 16th September. For more information, do not hesitate to contact her at patricia.jaquet@cdl.ch

Are you ready?

Ready or not (but hopefully YES) the new school year is right around the corner. And as usual with it the expectations for each single boy and girl boarder at CDL.

In Léman 2 we are happy to welcome all the boys. Rooms are ready to get full, campus is ready for the excitement and energy the students shall bring with them.

For some this is an extremely important year, full of decisions. For others it will be full of adventures and discoveries. For all we expect it to be a memorable year.

Familiar face for many of you? Of course, it Mr Javier Salvat who is joining the Léman team this year. He has worked at CDL already last year and has over 10 years of experience with young people in Boarding, Camps, Sport Activities, etc…

The other familiar face is mine…

It’s not the most beautiful face you will have seen, I know 🙂 … For those who don’t know me I am Mr Antonio Montes, starting my 10th year at CDL.

And so this is our Welcome word for everyone who checks our blog. Check out this space. News, photos and other things will be posted here regularly. You’re always invited to check 😉

Entrepreneurs in Léman 2

Almost at the end of the year the results of the Entrepreneurship Course became public. The group of Pouyan and Danila created a start-up called Second Life, a small company, created, designed and managed by this small group who aims at recycling and selling ( at cheaper prices ) school books. It was extremely interesting to see their presentation and very exciting to see how they designed all the project, did a market research, considered the core of the business and aimed at the targeted markets. This course was a great success and we’re certainly proud to see two of our boys being so focused and target oriented in the make-up of their own little business… Moreover their profit will reverse to charity so what else can we say other than : WELL DONE DANILA AND POUYAN

Luzern Day Trip

On Friday, due to the long week-end in Geneva, a group of boarders enjoy a daytrip to Luzern.

As you can see the weather was terrific and the visit of the city and the Transport Museum were the highlights of the day.

From Léman 2, Pouyan took part of this trip. Not a surprise as he quite likes to visit and discover all that he can 🙂

The beautiful lake and its wooden bridge are possible the most visited spot in town. The pictures give us an idea of the idyllic scenario.

During the bus trip the students enjoyed the typical Swiss views, now all full of life, due to spring and waiting for the hot summer days
