This evening was the first round of our Boarding Ping-Pong Tournament.

Amirhossein represented Leman 1 in the first round and went up against Herman from Concha.

Ramadan is over, and our own Amirhossein is celebrating the end of his 30 days and 30 nights fast by enjoying a meal with his friends.

We ordered some Iranian kebabs, rice and drinks to make him feel more at home.

Today, the boarding volleyball team represented Collège du Léman in an intermural volleyball tournament which involved teams from the American School of Leysin and La Châtaigneraie.

Two of our boys – Tomohisa and Amirhossein – are a part of the team.

After a series of intense and incredibly tight matches, they took Second Place!

Today our boys joined the Community Service group and helped keep our campus clean and beautiful.

Congratulations to Carlos, Timur, Amirhossein and Alan for putting in a stellar performance during their first Boarding Football Match yesterday evening. Through hard work and innate skill, the boys managed to win the game 5-2. Well done lads.

Happy Spring break to all our families, agents and students!

We hope all our students have a fantastic break with their family and friends.

The Boarding House reopens on Friday 22nd April at 4pm. We look forward to seeing everyone after the break. We hope they all return fully refreshed and ready to work for the remainder of the school year.

Three of our boys spent some time today picking up litter along the canal path that runs behind CDL.

Saturday morning, we broke out the griddle and made ourselves some pancakes, with blueberries and white chocolate toppings.

The pancake aroma wafted out our windows and caught the attention of Aryan, one of the Concha boys.

More denizens of CDL called to Leman 1 by the aroma. Mr. Jakob from Olympus and Rakaan from Leman 2 joined us in our feast of the cakes of pan.

If there’s anything that 5 people (including myself) of varying ages and backgrounds can agree on, it’s that pancakes are delicious.

Our resident prefect Iman spent Saturday morning brushing up on his tennis skills alongside his fellow Persian Aryan.

Tonight, in the second match of the new season of the Boarding Football Cup, Leman 1 went up against the staff team, Leman Old Glories.

In an intense match, made more interesting by the pouring rain, Leman 1 came out on top and won 5-3!

The Talent Show returned with a bang yesterday evening!! There were incredible performances from all the Boarding Houses. We are so proud of the boys for getting on the stage and putting in an incredible musical performance. Well done boys!!

This weekend, Léman 1’s very own Shintaro spent the weekend with a group of Boarding students seeing the sights of the incredible Spanish city of Barcelona. This trip is the latest weekend trip of our exciting trips programme. Next stop: Greece and Cyprus during the Easter Holidays.

The weekend got off to a perfect start this morning. Not only is the sun shining bright, we had a host of incredible activities available to our students.

The Léman 1 boys chose cooking, tennis, badminton, running and horse riding.

Tonight one of our resident thespians, Baudelio performed a play named ‘Check Please!’ with his theatre class.

The atmosphere on the school campus today was vibrant, as we celebrated CDL day, a day where we aim to raise awareness about climate change. This special day also saw the return of the Grand Prix, an anuual running race on campus for all grades. Due to the global pandemic, the Grand Prix hasn’t been able to take place on campus for 2 years. Well done to all the Léman 1 boys, and all the Boarding students who took part in this incredible event today.
