Wellbeing Pillar 3 , Building a Positive Relationship with Myself

Tonight, during our house assembly, we launched Pillar 3: “Building a Positive Relationship with Myself.”

Focusing on self-awareness and self-acceptance, this pillar addresses two key aspects of emotional intelligence and personal growth. First, self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand your own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. And second, self-acceptance is the practice of embracing who you are, including both your strengths and imperfections.
The takeaway point: The first thing to realize is that positive relationships start with you.

We also watched this video, where some students explained the importance of self-awareness and self-acceptance.

Welcome to Louis Degallier 60 : First weeks of excitement settling

The opening of the Louis Degallier 60 villa was met with great enthusiasm by the senior boarders, marking the beginning of an exciting new chapter for them. As the boarders arrived at their new home, they were filled with energy and anticipation, eager to embrace the final term of the school year. The excitement in the air was palpable, as students settled into their new surroundings, ready to face the challenges and opportunities ahead. This transition to a new environment brought with it a sense of adventure and camaraderie, as everyone looked forward to the experiences that awaited them.

The first few weeks in the villa proved to be an exciting and memorable time for the senior boarders. The students took part in a variety of activities designed to foster both fun and teamwork. From the House Introduction, where new connections were made, to the sunny and traditional ski weekend that offered both relaxation and excitement, the boarders quickly bonded over shared experiences. The weekend activities were full of energy and excitement, while the cooking sessions allowed students to unwind and have fun in a creative way. These experiences have not only helped the boarders settle into their new home but also built lasting memories and strong friendships among the group.
