Well-Being Pillar 3. Understanding My Impact on Others

As we conclude our third pillar of well-being, we explore a fundamental yet powerful concept: the way we treat ourselves shapes how we treat others. The relationship we have with ourselves serves as the foundation for all the connections we build. The way we treat ourselves—our self-talk, self-care, and self-respect—directly impacts how we interact with others.
We watched an insightful video featuring an interview in which one of our students spoke with her peers and her house tutor, sparking meaningful discussions on self-awareness and self-care.

Wellbeing Pillar 3 ,Self-Care and Boundaries

Following our well-being program Pillar 3, tonight, during our weekly house assembly we discussed Self-care and Boundaries.

Setting boundaries is an important part of establishing one’s identity and is crucial for mental health and well-being. Setting healthy boundaries can have many benefits, including helping people make decisions based on what is best for them, not just the people around them. This autonomy is an important part of self-care. Healthy boundaries are a crucial component of self-care.

Boundaries can be described as how emotionally close you let people get to you. They are also where you draw the line within a relationship. They say how much you are willing to give or take before requiring that things change or deciding to call it quits. Boundaries are one of the measures of relationship health.

We also watched this video, where some students explained the importance of self-care and how “they can fill up their cups”
