Doing simple stretching exercises just two or three times a week can significantly increase flexibility, improve balance, and relieve pain caused by muscle and joint stiffness. Bravo, Helo and Maria Carolina !
Following our well-being program Pillar 3, tonight, during our weekly house assembly we discussed Self-care and Boundaries.
Setting boundaries is an important part of establishing one’s identity and is crucial for mental health and well-being. Setting healthy boundaries can have many benefits, including helping people make decisions based on what is best for them, not just the people around them. This autonomy is an important part of self-care. Healthy boundaries are a crucial component of self-care.
Boundaries can be described as how emotionally close you let people get to you. They are also where you draw the line within a relationship. They say how much you are willing to give or take before requiring that things change or deciding to call it quits. Boundaries are one of the measures of relationship health.

This weekend, Heloisa, Duda & Maria Carolina learnt how to make traditional french crepes, with a complex salted caramel sauce and classic caramelised apples! 🍎
It’s safe to say they enjoyed the process, and I’m not sure how much salted caramel sauce made it back to the boarding house 😅
On Saturday, Lucy was able to enjoy the ski slopes in Leysin. She was above the clouds, soaking up the sunshine and the beautiful mountainous air ⛰️🎿
Maria Carolina & Duda embarked on their first shopping experience in Geneva! They then found a delicious Brazilian restaurant where they enjoyed some food with some fellow boarders 🥗🥟
& finally, Jasmine was busy in the kitchen perfecting her cooking skills. Not only did she bake two batches of healthy brownies made with blended oats, but she also seasoned and cooked the perfect steak. Well done! 🥩
As always, we had a great weekend here in Louis Degallier 🥰
Tonight, during our house assembly, we launched Pillar 3: “Building a Positive Relationship with Myself.”
Focusing on self-awareness and self-acceptance, this pillar addresses two key aspects of emotional intelligence and personal growth. First, self-awareness is the ability to recognize and understand your own emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. And second, self-acceptance is the practice of embracing who you are, including both your strengths and imperfections.
The takeaway point: The first thing to realize is that positive relationships start with you.

From the House Introduction, where new connections were made, to the sunny and traditional ski weekend that offered both relaxation and excitement, the boarders quickly bonded over shared experiences. The weekend activities were full of energy and excitement, while the cooking sessions allowed students to unwind and have fun in a creative way. These experiences have not only helped the boarders settle into their new home but also built lasting memories and strong friendships among the group.
