This week we started our cooking club, Mia and Kotoka joined and made a wonderful fried rice plate. We can not wait for next week’s project!

Today we had our first Monthly Boarding Assembly, followed by a welcome dinner where the girls enjoyed a delicious meal. Afterwards Ms Maral made crepes for the girls as a treat for our first House Meeting. Thank you Ms Maral!

The girls visited Concha this morning to go through the school rules and expectations with the House Parents. Well done everyone for listening!

It was a hot sunny day today and the girls spent a bit of time in the afternoon chilling in the house. After dinner we all went out to enjoy the fresh air and we played some ball games including dodgeball, volleyball and even tag!

An evening well spent!

Today we welcomed back our new students and they all had a welcome assembly where they got to meet their teachers, meet other fellow students and do some activities.

It was a great start for the new school year and we are looking forward to it!

The summer vacation is coming to an end and… We can’t wait to meet our new girls! And to welcome our older girls back!

What did you do during the summer vacation ?

We enjoyed the sun, the lake, sometimes even the sea, and most of all, we enjoyed spending some time with our loved ones.

In the meantime, house Old Portena will be open from tomorrow morning, 9AM, for all our newcomers ! There will be a welcome assembly as well as a welcome cocktail from 17PM until 19PM, where the parents are also welcome !

After loads of packing and cleaning, our lovely house of Old Portena will soon be closed for the summer…

As it’s the last weekend of the school year, it is a good time to reminisce of everything that has happened in Old Portena since August. So many beautiful memories to cherish while getting ready for this last weekend before the great summer holidays !
