The last weekend… 3 days full of goodbyes

As the school year draws to a close and exams are behind us, Olympus has entered vacation mode! Students are having a great time, enjoying their lives, and making the most of the last few days. This weekend, however, was filled with heartfelt goodbyes and lots of packing. Packing up all the belongings accumulated over the year is an emotional process, but everyone kept smiling and had a blast. Here’s to a fantastic summer ahead!

Olympus thrills during the End of the Year Event

This Sunday was a special moment as we approached the end of the year. It was the opportunity for the Boarders to take part in the End of the Year Event organised by Boarding. This event offered an afternoon of activities at Concha, such as Laser Tag, Water games, the Catapult ride and the Swimming pool. At the event Ice cream and Popcorn also had their place in the party and completed the afternoon fun.

The End of the Year Event marked a final moment between boarders to bond and relax before the summer break.

Olympus End of the Year Fun

After a demanding week of exams, this weekend was one of the last moments for our Olympus Boarders to have fun and bond, as they face the final week of School before the Summer Break.

I a sunny environment, our students were able to take part in different activities allowing them to relax and interact with each other before facing a final stretch before the Summer. By participating in intense Handball matches, facing challenging Climbing circuits, creating inspired meals in Cooking sessions or taking part in the Running challenge of this weekend, the Boarders had an entertaining and resourceful time. On Sunday, CDL Boarders were able to have one final moment of togetherness and bonding, as they were invited to the End of the Year Event organised at Concha. This event was the chance for the students to engage in an Ice Cream party with Laser Tag, Trampoline and Water activities, offering an afternoon of wonder and fun. All of these moments created a perfect weekend of happiness.

Second to last weekend in Olympus

For many boarders, this weekend was the last one before exams began, while for some it fell in the middle of their exams. This made it even more remarkable that our students chose to participate in their favorite activities, demonstrating their genuine enjoyment of them. They understood that these activities provided a break from studying and some time to relax and enjoy themselves during this otherwise busy weekend. Usual activities such as tennis, boxing, climbing, golf, chess, and cooking were chosen, while one lucky and deserving student, Enzo, had the unforgettable experience of paragliding, flying through the skies.

Olympus Fun during a Special Weekend!

This very special weekend was yet another opportunity for our Olympus Boarders to relax and make the most of their last weeks together. While the graduation for our Grade 12 students was the main event, various activities took place, giving our boarders moments of of fun and excitement.

Saturday was the chance for the students to participate in creative Cooking sessions, challenging Climbing circuits and intensive Tennis drills. There was also exciting activities on Sunday, such as the trip to Aquapark or the outing to the Golf course. As the school year is progressively coming to an end, our boarders were able to spend some last moments with the Grade 12 students, and enjoy a well deserved weekend break before facing the final weeks.

Graduation 2024

Yesterday we attended the beautiful graduation ceremony of the 23/24 graduating class.

Without a doubt, it was a very emotional event in which all the students collected their diplomas on the most important day of their academic careers so far. There were musical moments, and sentimental speeches, addressed to families, teachers, classmates, and House Parents. We are very proud like Boarding staff to see how all these students have progressed and grown in their lives guided by all of us to now, on their own, continue to seek new challenges in which to succeed in life.

We wish all the best to all the students of this promotion, but especially to all our Olympus boys, you will always be part of this house:

Alex, Aleksei, André, Billy, David, Kevin, Lael, Murat and Tim.
