The fellas had a delightful Soiree Japonnaise this evening. It was so nice, the boys simply had to go back for Round 2! (Can’t say we blame them!)

This weekend, the boys had the absolute pleasure of travelling across Switzerland to Fiesch, to enjoy an action packed fun weekend in Fiesch, for their Mountain Weekend Trip.

The boys landed in on Friday evening, and after dinner, had the opportunity to explore Fiesch and hang out at the resort, where there were board games and other activities organised.

Then on Saturday, everybody went their seperate ways to meander an excellent and wide variety of activities. These ranged from Multi Sports, Mountain Biking, & Mini Golf to Rope Courses, Glacier Hiking & Via Ferrata. A hungry crew came back in the evening to enjoy some dinner before having a relaxing evening, having some more free time to explore Fiesch and discover some of the exciting local restaurants and interesting attractions (the biggest one no doubt being the local Coop!).

On Sunday there were group & team activities planned out for the morning, and then it was on to the thank you’s & the time to hit the road.

Thank you to the all the team, both here at CDL and those over in Fiesch, for the fantastic weekend. The boys loved it!

On Thursday we celebrated the Geneva canton public holiday, Jeûne genevois. However, we were not idle – there is, after all, no rest for the wicked – and so the boys got to experience a lovely day trip to the beautiful city of Annecy in France.

This weekend, our boys enjoyed an eventful time with a diverse range of activities, including horse riding, climbing, and golf.

We are now gearing up for the Discovery Days at Fiesch, followed by our Orientation weekend at the same location.

Friday – the day everyone at school always looks forward to. The favorite day of many around the world, Friday is almost always associated with fun, relaxation and it marks the end of a week of work. It is the reward for our efforts over the previous four days of the week.

To quote a classic hit song by The Cure,

“Monday you can fall apart
Tuesday, Wednesday break my heart
Oh, Thursday doesn’t even start
It’s Friday, I’m in love”

We had a superb gathering at our house and the guys cooked some awesome food

Ariel did what the Skywalkers were destined to do in the original Star Wars, and brought balance to the force. He did make it look effortless.
