No Waste, Just Taste: A Delicious Indonesian Dinner at Home

We had a wonderful evening filled with the vibrant flavors of Indonesia. With this crew, there’s hardly ever any waste—every bite is savored. The night was full of laughter, great stories, and spicy rice, creating a perfect blend of fun and flavor. We’re already looking forward to our next dinner at home, where we’ll no doubt embark on a new culinary adventure.

Well-being Pillar 4, Healthy Bodies and Minds

As part of our Pastoral Program, we launched Pillar 4 of our Wellbeing Program, titled “Healthy Bodies and Minds,” during our weekly house meeting. This pillar focuses on Nutrition, emphasizing two key takeaways: First: Understanding calories and portion sizes. and Second: Making healthy food choices and staying hydrated.

During the meeting, we also watched a video in which students shared their thoughts on the importance of eating healthily, understanding daily calorie intake and portion sizes, and choosing nutritious meals. The video highlighted the significance of staying hydrated as well. Our House Rep, Jasmine, led this important discussion since she is one of the most passionate and health-conscious members of our house.

Another House Dinner, Indonesia

We don’t need to travel far to experience the rich flavors of global cuisine—each month, our boarding school brings the world to our table with a special themed dinner. Tonight, Indonesia arrived at our house, served with passion by our talented school chefs and thoughtfully curated by the boarding team.

From fragrant spices to traditional dishes, the evening was a true celebration of Indonesian culture and flavors. These dinners are more than just meals; they are moments of connection, discovery, and appreciation for the diverse world we live in.

Stay tuned for next month’s culinary adventure! 🌍🍽️
