Reconnecting and Recharging: Louis Degallier 60 Boarders Return with Enthusiasm

After a well-deserved February break, the boarders of Louis Degallier 60 returned to their house, ready to reconnect and embrace the new school period with enthusiasm. The first week back was filled with opportunities to strengthen friendships and ease into the academic routine. Housemates gathered to share stories from their time away, rekindling bonds and creating a warm and supportive atmosphere. This period of re-connection played a key role in fostering a sense of belonging and ensuring that everyone felt motivated for the challenges ahead.

To make the transition even more enjoyable, a variety of activities were organised, bringing energy and excitement to the house. Students participated in climbing sessions, testing their physical and mental resilience, while others engaged in card games and classic house games that sparked laughter and friendly competition. These activities not only provided entertainment but also helped set a positive tone for the upcoming term. With spirits high and motivation renewed, the boarders of Louis Degallier 60 are now ready to take on their academic and personal goals with confidence.

Crans Montana,Ski Week

Duda and Helo had a fantastic time in Crans-Montana this week during the February half-term. They chose to spend their holidays with the school community at the Hotel Du Parc (4-star) in Montana. The week provided a brilliant opportunity to make new friends, learn or improve their skiing or snowboarding skills, and take part in evening activities such as ice skating, and bowling. After skiing, the students had ample time to explore the resort and rest in preparation for the start of school this coming week

Love is in the air 🩷❤️

Valentine’s day is a wonderful excuse for all of us to celebrate love & friendship with little acts of kindness that show appreciation for the special people in our lives. And that’s exactly what happened in our boarding community ✨

Every year, the students of Collège du Léman have the opportunity to send a rose to someone special. Our wonderful Louis Degallier girls secretly sent a rose and a heartfelt message to one another 🥰

Duda & Helo joined some other school friends to celebrate this special day. With a wonderful dress code of pink & red, the evening was filled with laughter, love and lots of delicious treats 🩷❤️

And of course Valentine’s day wouldn’t be complete without bouquets of beautiful flowers. The girls were well & truly spoilt 🌸🌷

Well-Being Pillar 3. Understanding My Impact on Others

As we conclude our third pillar of well-being, we explore a fundamental yet powerful concept: the way we treat ourselves shapes how we treat others. The relationship we have with ourselves serves as the foundation for all the connections we build. The way we treat ourselves—our self-talk, self-care, and self-respect—directly impacts how we interact with others.
We watched an insightful video featuring an interview in which one of our students spoke with her peers and her house tutor, sparking meaningful discussions on self-awareness and self-care.
