A Russian Evening to Welcome Spring

Dear Community of the Collège du Léman,

Last night marked the return of our beloved international dinner series, and what better way to kick things off after the April break than with a culinary journey to Russia! The dining hall was transformed into a cozy tribute to Russian culture, complete with flags and traditional music playing softly in the background. Students and staff gathered with curiosity and excitement as we were treated to a hearty selection of classic Russian dishes.

The meal began with a warm bowl of borscht soup—rich, vibrant, and full of earthy flavor. Alongside it, we enjoyed creamy Russian salad, full of diced vegetables and dressed in a tangy mayo-based sauce. The highlight for many was the dessert: a beautifully layered Napoleon cake. As for the rest of the dishes, you’ll be able to see them in the photo—we promise they looked (and tasted) just as good!

Best,

Collège du Léman Team!
