Today, our boarding school hosted an exciting International Dinner, and this time, we took a delicious trip to Mexico! The dinner featured a variety of classic Mexican dishes, including tacos, nachos with guacamole, rice, and burritos. The tacos were filled with tender meats and topped with fresh salsa, cheese, and a squeeze of lime. The nachos, served with creamy guacamole, were a hit, and the flavorful Mexican rice perfectly complemented the hearty meal.
For dessert, we indulged in bunuelos de nata, which were crispy fried dough treats lightly dusted with sugar. These sweet bites were paired with a rich, spicy chili con chocolate sauce that added a unique twist to the traditional dessert. The combination of sweetness and heat was a delightful surprise, making for a memorable finish to the meal.
The International Dinner was not only about enjoying great food but also celebrating Mexican culture and bringing everyone together.
