Hoodie Decision

We are trying to design our own hoodies for our house. Something that gives us unity and can identify us as a house. However with 28 students it is always difficult to come to a decsion.

We therefore have 4 ideas which are shown below. Please let us know in the comment section which hoodie you like best!

Pumpkin Carving

Last night we had an amazing evening cutting, gutting, scraping, slicing, designing and creating pumpkin lanterns!

A new experience for many this traditional festive affaire sees children carving out the inners of pumpkins and cutting out shapes in the side to create the face of a goullish monstrous face. Steeped in myths and popular culture, this process is now just a fun and popular pastime to decorate the outside of homes at Halloween.

Brazilian Night

Tonight we had a fantastic meal from the students of Brazil. With posters, flags and music they presented to us some traditional food from their home towns. The atmosphere was great and we all thoroughly enjoyed it. From Leman 2, Bernardo did a great job in helping them design, prepare and deliver the cuisine tonight!

PFA Welcome BBQ

On September 13, from 4:30-7:30, CDL and the PFA  hosted the Second Annual Back-To-School BBQ for the entire CDL community — faculty, staff, and families.  Bringing everyone together to celebrate the start of a new school year, there was a BBQ, salads, and desserts; a stage with musical entertainment; a new outdoor art space, and plenty of games and activities for everyone.
