Introduction to Pillar 2 – Preventing Bullying and promoting Diversity

With a new half term, we have started discussing the new topic on our Well Being Program. This is a special one that we do take very seriously as an international school. We have covered what we consider bullying and diversity to be and we were happy to see that the boys think that bullying is not a major problem in our school which is quite reassuring to hear.

Over the next weeks we will deepen our dialogue on this and explore what diversity has to offer and how can we promote that as an important and positive part of our lives here at CDL.

Fall break

After a final week of half term with Parents – Teachers meetings it’s time for a moment of relaxation and rest. We will be back in a week but in the mean time have a Happy Fall break. See you soon

Well Being Period – Nature Walk

Enjoying the last rays of sun in a beautiful autumn afternoon… that was the leitmotiv for our Well-being period this week. Better than talking about exercise, healthy habits and sleeping patterns, we enjoyed the beautiful Versoix woods for a walk where we had nice chats and the camaraderie between the boys was visible. This walk, runs along a little water stream and took us to a part of Versoix that some of the boys had never explored.

Exercise, fresh pure air, bonding together… all part of our Well-Being.

FC Leman 2 United: 3 – Pink Power ( Concha Annexe ): 1

Forget about the World Cup and the Champions League… This is where top football gets played. Let Messi and Ronaldo come and learn 🙂

An epic opening of the tournament for the Léman 2 team with a top quality second half, crowned by 3 amazing goals to lift Léman 2 to a glorious 3-1 win against a deserving and honourable Pink Power team but without arguments on the pitch to retaliate and get back on the score sheet.

A special mention to Masanobu with 2 goals (and a display that can take him to play in Mars) and Nikita who showed to be a pendulum in the defence.

Next match, against Conchattack, the title holders. Watch this space 🙂
