Diversity, Respect and Helping Others
In our Well Being period today we had a special moment.
On the topic of Respect and Diversity we ended up directing our conversation to how to help others.
Johannes gave us a lovely testimonial, on how he felt he could be helpful and useful to the primary boys he is seeing on a regular basis. According to him, he always wished he would have had an older brother to guide him in life and today he feels he can be a little bit the bigger brother to these younger students who are away from home.
Our Community Service and Charity service provide us with a good structure to do something meaningful to others. However what is important is to have our hearts full of good will towards others and not necessarily counting with a formal reward in then end of each gesture.
In his own way, Johannes is leading by example and his generosity is deeply appreciated.

What is Bullying? What can we do to tackle it? – Poster Making
During this week’s well-being session, we continued working on the second pillar of well-being – protecting against bullying and respecting diversity.
This week, we paid particular focus to the extremely important topic of ‘Bullying’.
In each session, each group were split into two to design different posters to be displayed around the school. One poster was to define what bullying is and to identify the different types of bullying. The second poster was to state the different ways and ideas in which we can try and tackle and prevent the issue of bullying.
It was fantastic to see the boy’s working together and coming up with some great ideas. The importance of protecting against bullying was certainly reinforced. Great work boys.
Kristian putting some good effort in Tennis this weekend :)
Boarding House Competition – Masterchef
The latest instalment to the Boarding House competition was the Masterchef competition which took place this weekend. Thank you to Amirhossein and his team for preparing a fantastic Iranian dish. The positive attitude, effort and spirit we received from the boy’s was amaying to see.
The Leman 2 boys are doing very well overall in the competition and currently sit in 2nd position – just 60 points behind the current leaders, Leman 1.
Keep up the good work boys.
